Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Information We Collect

Betwixt collects only the information necessary to provide our services. This includes your email address when you create an account, usage data for service improvement, and any content you choose to store in Betwixt Memory.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Betwixt separates provider credentials from user and agent data. Your LLM provider API keys are encrypted and stored exclusively on your device — they are never transmitted to or stored on Betwixt servers. User account data and Betwixt Memory content (facts, decisions, context, learnings, snippets, and notes) are stored in our cloud service so they can persist across sessions, sync across your devices, and power shared context between your tools and teammates. Cloud-stored data is encrypted in transit and at rest, scoped to your account, and subject to the access controls and retention settings you configure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to provide and maintain Betwixt services, improve performance and reliability, communicate service updates, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Security

We apply enterprise-grade security to both local and cloud-stored data: encryption in transit over TLS 1.3, encryption at rest for cloud-stored user and memory data, scoped access controls, and audit logging for sensitive operations. Provider API keys remain encrypted on your device and are never transmitted to Betwixt servers.

5. Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time through the Betwixt CLI or dashboard. For questions about your data, use the contact form and mention privacy in your note.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the Betwixt dashboard.
